Generally, I like to let my work do most of the talking, but seeing as I've nothing uploaded yet, I've got to resort to the ever-popular survey. I tried a few times to come up with a short something that would describe me, but it never came out right; I ended up going on too many tangents. Right then:
What is your full name?
Oliver Winslow Martext.
Where were you born?
In the hospital.
Were you named after anyone?
Oliver Twist (Father had an uncanny liking for Mr. Dickens; each of us children is named for a character - in order of publication, no less. Eldest is Samuel, named from The Pickwick Papers, then meself, then Nicholas, of course from Nicholas Nickleby, and then finally Kitty, after Kit in The Old Curiosity Shop) and Winslow Homer (Mother was a fan of his).

Rye toast with raspberry jelly.
Do you wear pyjamas?
Yes.
What is your favourite type of clothing?
The comfortable type.
If you could eat lunch with one famous person, who would it be?
For currently living persons, I would have to say Jack White, or possibly Neil Gaiman. For currently non-living persons, I would most definitely pick H. G. Wells.
Favourite sandwich filling?
Lebanon bologna.
What's your favorite cuisine?
"Dinner" pies - chicken pot pie, shepherd's pie, meat pies in general.

Buttered, though I don't eat it often.
Red or white wine?
Red, definitely.

I had some friends over, and we played board games.
Favourite TV show?
Nothing in particular; I really only use the television to watch movies.
What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
Sweeney Todd.
What inspires you?
People who work through their problems, rather than just sitting and moping. Inventive solutions. Clever plot twists. Music. Agatha Christie.
Where would you retire to?
That's a long way off for me, and I change my mind often, so even if I were to say "Cape Cod" now, I wouldn't neccesarily end up there.
Who would you hate to be left in a room with?
Myself. Alternately, sorority girls.
Can you touch your nose with your tongue?
Heavens no.
What color are your eyes?
Mischievous.
Do you carry a donor card?
That's a good idea.
What were your favorite toys as a child?
Shoelaces, the dress-up box (old clothing my siblings and I would pretend to be beggars whilst wearing), and the cigar boxes Father kept full of nuts, bolts, and other little fiddly bits.
What class in high school was totally useless?
Hmm, that's a tough one. I would probably say my first year of English, just because I knew more than the teacher on the subject.
Do you untie your shoes when you take them off?
I have to; 85% of the time, I wear boots that are impossible to get off without untying.
What is your least favorite thing about yourself?
I'm a tad disorganized, and I have a terrible sense of direction.

Favourite time of day?
The hours between 4 and 11 pm.

I suppose you want to know if I believe in it, in which case, the answer is yes.
What characteristic do you despise?
Stubborn ignorance. Also, people who chew on pens and pencils.
If you had a big win in the lottery, how long would you wait to tell people?
You assume I would tell anyone. Silly.
How many keys on your ring?
Four.
What do you think about the person who sent this to you?
I've never met them.
Do you like your handwriting?
Yes. It changes from sloppy to neat to curly to slanty. It reminds me a lot of myself - I'm in a constant state of flux.
If you were another person, would YOU be friends with you?
Of course I get along with myself - we've lived together all our lives.
Yours, OM.
